About Eira
I hold an M.A. in Spanish Language and Hispanic Studies and have 11 years of experience teaching Spanish to learners from diverse backgrounds. My academic training allows me to explain language structure clearly while emphasizing cultural context and practical usage. I am passionate about helping students develop both linguistic confidence and cultural awareness. My teaching approach is patient, structured, and encouraging. I take time to understand each student’s goals, pace, and challenges, adjusting lessons to support steady and meaningful progress. Creating a positive learning environment is central to my teaching philosophy, as confidence plays a key role in language acquisition. Outside of teaching, I stay engaged with Spanish through reading, cultural exploration, and ongoing study. These experiences enrich my lessons and help me bring authenticity into the classroom. Teaching Spanish is rewarding because I see learners grow into confident communicators. Supporting their journey is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work.
