About Gara

I was born in Tenerife, Canary Islands. I studied arts my whole life and decided to take a turn in my career when I came to London in 2019.

As I was only 18, I didn't have a lot of work experience, and my English was rather poor at that point. I knew I had work to do. Lucky me, I have always been a very good speaker, even in Spanish. For me, words are a beautiful translation for cosmic energy.

From working in restaurants and retail shops, I made my way up with a lot of confidence and positive beliefs, and now I've been working as a full time content creator on tiktok and youtube, part time life coach and model/creative for more than a year.
People comment on my social profiles how much they love my voice and my accent...I tell you now, its not about perfection, its about knowing where and who you want to be. You will get there.

With clarity and conviction you can do and learn anything, take it from someone that has manifested immense success in a matter of three years. Most of the skills I've acquired, have been proudly self taught.

Luckily for you, I am here now to help you, and I can't be more excited!

As a language enthusiast and bilingual person myself, I know that in less than 3 months anyone can speak Spanish (and pretty much any language) fluently.

I remember when I first arrived to England and discovered that the plus 8 years of English lessons I had at school, could not compete with the immersive experience that it is to actually go out there and having to communicate for survival.

My brain did a complete rewiring and I surprised myself thinking and even dreaming in English, after only couple months of living here...

Its all about skipping the unnecessary and boring methodology, and immersing ourselves in a world of sounds and daily practice that exercises that learning muscle we all have.

Our lessons will be a minimum of an hour, and through pure spoken, listened and written practice, I will teach you how to have real conversations, how to recognise the similarly written but differently pronounced words and how to really throw yourself into the pool and become a confident Spanish speaker in no time!

Two things that you need: commitment and reinforcement.

Committed to listen, train your ears and not giving up on your progress, even when this seems too little or too slow.
It is very important to reinforce what you already know and celebrate every step you take, not comparing yourself to others, but embracing your unique journey.

I self taught myself English by talking, listening to music, watching movies and shows and always having confidence in my ability to communicate, as words are just one of the many ways we, as humans, communicate with each other.
Things like your body language and tone are also important when making a good first impression, so we will also cover them tools to help you succeed.

I will teach you how to use confidence as your ally to become a fluent speaker sooner than you believe it possible!
As a part time life coach, I know how to get people to believe in themselves, cause that is the first requisite to achieve anything is this life.

My lessons are literally for everyone.
Maybe you want to learn a new language on the side as a new hobby, to expand your horizons, or maybe you are getting ready for an Spanish listening/speaking test. I am your tutor.
Your age doesn't matter, its never too late or too early if its done, just set the intention to grow and be 1% better everyday. That is my definition of success.

This lessons are fun, easygoing, practical and real. Even if you are learning just to get ready for your holidays in Spain, you will be able to order at the restaurant, look for local amenities in no time and have wonderful conversations with amazing individuals.
