About Sophia
Hola !
My name is Sofia ( from Argentina) and I am an enthusiastic and patient tutor with experience on teaching 1-1 and to groups of all ages. I primarily teach Castellan Spanish, which is my mother tongue and the most common language of mainland Spain. I am equally able to teach South American Spanish due to my South American heritage.
I like to personalise classes to suit different abilities and learning styles. I will use a mix of resources and activities to challenge you and ensure steady progress. Conversation is key and practise makes perfect, so be prepared to reinforce knowledge in new and spontaneous ways.
Regardless of your level, I will have suitable materials to help you improve and become more confident in Spanish. Homework is included to help embed your new language in your long-term memory.
I am familiar with Key Stages 1-5 and GCSE of the UK school/collage curriculums. Whether, you want to learn Spanish to move to a new country, to communicate better with people you already know or pass an exam, I have the desire and the materials to help you improve and become confident.
I offer classes to adults and children of all abilities. Depending on your needs you will learn practical new skills to help you reach your goals.

My classes are based on students needs and interests and from this view I customize and adapt the lesson. We are all different and learn in different ways.
Each introductory class, I try to know the student as deep as possible, hobbies, job, about the level, strengths and weaknesses of the students and based on that I plan the sessions in a dynamic and motivational way with creative activities to make an active teaching- learning process.
I can help students to develop speaking, listening, reading, writing and to improve grammar and vocabulary. I can also design and personalized your class depending on your purposes
