About Keren
I am a full time college student who has been working in education since 2017. Through internships, Community Based Learning at Goucher College, and tutoring my fellow classmates in Spanish and English they have seen improvements in their conversational skill, reading comprehension, and writing.

Through studying Spanish and Korean through for part of my primary and secondary education, it has given me first hand insight on the challenges my students face and how to best understand them. I am also able to understand the difficulty of having to learn and teach in person and in online settings, but I am currently doing so. As an instructor, in addition to teaching Spanish, I try to teach students how to tune into their own intrinsic motivations and how to become more self-disciplined. This way students will be able to focus on the value of their education, the relevancy and practical use of it, and have the tools to keep themselves engaged in the material despite the obstacles they may be facing.
