About Esme
Hi!
My name is Esme and I studied Spanish, German and history at A-level and now study Spanish and French at university. I understand both the academic and confidence challenge that learning a language can be and would really love to help you. I myself found gcses and a-levels stressful but my love for languages pushed me through and now I love studying them at uni. I've previously tutored for a charity and I am a language ambassador for my university so I will deliver passionate lessons that fit with what you're currently covering in class.

I believe the best way to learn a language is through experimentation and repeated practice. It is important that in my lessons you make mistakes so you can recognize your problem areas and then we can work through them together. If oral work is something you feel unsure on, the only way to improve is tackle the problem head on and I'd love to chat away and ask questions in Spanish for the duration of a class. Learning a language should be fun and practical so as much as vocabulary lists are important I like to focus on how we can use that vocabulary in real contexts.
