About Ruben
I had been teaching for 14 years in high school in three countries and different states in The United States I had been taught all levels of education from kinder garden to college level. In order to have a well-functioning society, we need citizens who can communicate with this large segment of the population. Students with a background in Spanish can go on to work in fields such as translation, communications, or social work, but can also use these skills in nearly every type of workplace—from telemarketing to politics. Working knowledge of Spanish will give your students an edge in a very competitive job market.

I use a teaching method called the Communicative Method. This means students are encouraged to speak and interact as much as possible in the classroom. We believe the quickest way to understanding the Spanish language is through hands-on activities, student interaction, and practicing in real-life situations. During the classes, students are presented with a variety of texts exploring Spain’s culture, current affairs and topics that will interest students and spark conversation.
