About Tennison
From 2014 - 2016 I completed my undergraduate degree in International Studies, majoring in Spanish at the University of Queensland, which houses one of the best language faculties in Australia.
I spent 7 months of this degree in Mexico, where I became intimately accustomed to Mexican and Guatemalan culture, and the Latin American dialect of Spanish.
From October 2017 to June 2018 I lived in Andalusia, Spain, which is home to another distinct dialect of the Spanish language. Finally, I spent the Spanish summer of 2018 in Galicia, Spain. Once again, the style of Spanish and the culture of this region was unique and greatly improved my understanding of the Spanish language and culture at large.
During this time I completed a post graduate certificate in Successful Teaching English Procedures, which included modules from the TKT.
Since returning home in late 2018 I have completed a Master of Teaching, with specialities in language teaching and humanities. I have also worked as an English tutor with a private tutoring company.
