About Paulina

I have taught Spanish for several years and I have also taught online as well. I have prepared different activities with my students such as the “Club de libros” Univision 23 where students could show their skills with the Spanish Language. I have organized poetry and writing contests at the school where I worked. I studied a Master of International Spanish teacher with the “Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca”, Spain with which I could expand my knowledge in teaching the Spanish Language. I have taken many courses offered by the public-school system to improve knowledge and strategies in teaching. The result that my principal made in the evaluation of my work has been for several years the highest for public schools.

About the lesson

I have taught elementary for several years. As a first aspect, I like to apply direct instruction to know the specific characteristics of each student, based on which I can establish a differentiated and interactive instruction according to individual characteristics. It is important to combine the different ways of learning a language, speaking, writing, reading and listening. I consider it important to incorporate activities that break the monotony such as songs, performance and games.
