With 2 years of experience teaching Spanish at various educational levels, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of language acquisition and effective instructional strategies. I have successfully taught students from diverse backgrounds, adapting my teaching methods to meet individual learning needs and styles. My experience includes creating engaging lesson plans that incorporate technology, cultural elements, and interactive activities to foster a love for the language. I have also participated in professional development workshops to continuously enhance my skills and stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies. My commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment has empowered students to build their confidence and proficiency in Spanish.

About the lesson

Objective: Students will learn and practice basic Spanish greetings and responses.

In this lesson, students will be introduced to common greetings such as "Hola" (Hello), "¿Cómo estás?" (How are you?), and "Adiós" (Goodbye). The teacher will start with a brief explanation of the importance of greetings in Spanish-speaking cultures. Students will then engage in a fun role-play activity in pairs, practicing these greetings with each other. To reinforce learning, they will create a simple greeting chart to display in the classroom. The lesson will conclude with a short review game where students will match greetings with their meanings, ensuring they grasp the vocabulary effectively.
