Developed a method which I call "similarity-disparity method". I take the linguistic knowledge that you already have (you might not even be aware that you do, but you do!) and compare the similarities and differences between that and the Spanish variation of that. It has helped lots of my students to understand the true colours that lie beneath the topic they're learning and made them go like "Ohhhh..... that's how it's like! I understand now!..." I tend to focus on all the aspects of a language to give you a better comprehension. There's gonna be a lot of, I mean, A LOT OF, fun facts about Spain (also some other Latin countries as well), its culture, people, history, quirks, dishes (yum!) etc. so you know better why and how has this language come to being.
