About Akeisha
I’m a 21-year-old Criminal Justice major with a 3.20 GPA and a full course load at Sam Houston State University. My tutoring style is founded on logic and clarity; I enjoy finding the joy that I feel as an individual in our shared “ah” moment in math and science when someone has an “aha” moment.
I have 1 year of experience as a ESL teacher/ volunteer with ENGin and I have helped many non-native English speaking students develop their confidence through consistent and organized instruction with lots of patience. Additionally, I have had over ten years of experience as a competitive choir member and I plan on applying the same discipline I learned to my students’ academic success.
