About Aria
I’m a passionate French tutor with over four years of experience and a **Bachelor of Arts in French and Francophone Studies**. My journey with the French language began as a love for its rhythm, beauty, and power to express ideas with precision and emotion. Over the years, I’ve helped high school and university students strengthen their understanding of French and develop a genuine appreciation for the language. My French teaching approach focuses on helping students build real-world communication skills step by step. I start by creating a relaxed and supportive environment where students can feel confident using French in everyday situations. Lessons cover **listening comprehension, pronunciation, verb conjugation, grammar basics, and vocabulary building** to create a strong foundation.
I also include **slang, idiomatic expressions, and cultural references** so students can sound natural and understand native speakers better. For those learning French for travel, I offer practical lessons focused on conversation, directions, dining, and social interactions. I make sure each student learns at their own pace while still feeling challenged and motivated.
Listening and speaking exercises are at the heart of my sessions. Through real dialogues, short videos, and role-play, students practice hearing and responding to French naturally. I also guide them in reading and writing simple texts, improving accuracy and confidence with every lesson.
Many of my students start from scratch or return to French after a long break. I help them rediscover their enthusiasm for learning and show that progress comes with patience and consistency.
