About Teresa

My name is Teresa, and I’m a native Spanish speaker from Spain with a background in journalism and communications. My passion for teaching Spanish comes from my love of storytelling and helping people connect through language. I bring this into every lesson, making sure my students not only learn grammar and vocabulary, but also understand the cultural context and feel confident expressing themselves in real-life situations. I’m friendly, patient, and committed to creating a positive learning experience tailored to your goals.

About the lesson

¡Hola! I’m Teresa, a former journalist with a BA and MA, and I now offer online Spanish lessons tailored to your goals and interests. I focus on communication and confidence, combining grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in a practical and engaging way. Lessons include real-life conversations, listening exercises, and custom materials based on your needs — whether you're learning for travel, work, exams, or fun. I believe language is best learnt through meaningful context, so I adapt my style depending on your level and learning preferences. We'll work together to build a solid foundation and keep growing from there. Lesson Format Each lesson lasts 60 minutes and takes place online via Zoom or Google Meet. I also offer homework and follow-up resources to help you practise between sessions. About Me I’m a native Spanish speaker from Spain with a background in journalism and communication. I hold both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree, and I’m passionate about helping others enjoy learning Spanish as much as I enjoy teaching it. Who It's For Lessons are available for all levels (from complete beginners to advanced speakers), and for adults or teenagers (age 14+).
