About Tara
I bring more than 30 years of personal and professional experience supporting individuals with disabilities. As the mother of three adult daughters with diverse needs—two with Down syndrome and one with autism—I have developed extensive hands-on experience supporting individuals with communication, behavioral, learning, and developmental challenges, including one daughter who is nonverbal and another with significant dyslexia. In addition to my personal experience, I have worked as a special education teacher assistant, providing one-on-one tutoring tailored to students’ Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and leading small-group classes focused on developing essential life skills. These experiences have strengthened my ability to be patient, compassionate, adaptable, and attentive to each individual’s unique strengths and needs.
