About David
At the moment I work at the Université d'Avignon et des Pays de Vaucluse as an English teacher. I give oral classes for a wide range of students, from beginners and to more experienced students. In this position, I help students improve their spoken English skills and their confidence with the language. I also have experience of the secondary education system, having previously worked as an English teacher in a high school. In this post, I helped high school students to prepare for their language baccalaureate and develop their confidence with the language.
Before coming to France, I previously taught French conversation and grammar classes at Queen's University Belfast in Ireland and worked as a private tutor. I am also very happy to help anglophone students improve their French.

My name is David and I come from Ireland. At the moment I teach English language and conversation classes at the Université d'Avignon et des Pays de Vaucluse. I have a lot of experience teaching English (both spoken and written), having taught at a variety of levels (including children, high school students and adults). I am happy to teach classes at all levels and ranges of skills from improving upon the basics of English to helping more advanced learners perfect their English.
