About Aurora
I am a piano teacher with a Jazz Piano Performance degree and over 5 years of experience. I focus on real performance skills. Students learn accompaniment techniques. I teach how to follow phrasing. Listening skills are trained carefully. Lead sheet reading is simplified. Students recognize chord patterns. Transposition is practiced regularly. Rhythm training is important. Groove improves gradually. We study many styles. Pop and jazz are common. Choir accompaniment is included. My teaching is supportive. Younger students learn basics. Adults gain flexibility.
