About the lesson

Hi!
My name is Maia.
I am a Holistic Health and Mental Wellness Coach.
I am an advocate of natural medicines, whole body healing and embodiment. My practice focuses on lowering exposure to toxins, trauma and negative thought processes.

I approach healing and mental health from a Spiritual Perspective and believe that healing happens in Community.

Trauma happens in the body and in the mind, and in order to heal, we have to reconnect with ourselves and integrate a new way of Being.

What sets me apart from other teachers, is that I am just as much a participant in learning as a student as my own students, and I am consistently humbled by the knowledge and insight I gain from those I commune with.

My lessons are for those who are ready to take back their power and lead their life in the direction of their dreams.

As a mother of 2 beautiful children and an Evolutionary in the movement of Change in Criminal Justice, Domestic Violence, Homelessness and Instability. I have experienced firsthand some of life's most heinous circumstances, and have a trauma-informed background.
