About Stephen

I am 34 years old, and I love to teach.

For anyone learning a second language, it can be a difficult and frustrating journey. I teach for those special moments where the student grows confidence and feels momentum in their improvement.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to the English language goals of the student.
- My lessons focus on spoken pronunciation, sentence construction and listening exercises, unless the student wishes to focus on their written English.
- My lessons are well suited to upper beginners / intermediate students, but all students are welcome!
- I am formerly a legal professional who explained difficult concepts in english via immigration law for many years, i have also worked as a self employed english tutor based in London and Manchester, but have recently relocated back to Dublin, Ireland.

Deadly! Stefan is a very nice person and a good teacher. Classes with him are easy, comfortable and, of course, useful.
I liked that he carefully prepares for the class, as well as the fact that he tried to adapt the lesson to my interests and needs. It is very convenient. By maintaining a light and unobtrusive conversation, Stefan can simultaneously notice which mistakes I make, which rules I confuse, and which points I need to improve.
Also, I was pleasantly surprised by how carefully he writes feedback after the lesson. It is extremely convenient and useful. I am grateful to Stefan for his help and highly recommend him as a teacher!

My previous classes with Stephen were a great experience. He’s very eloquent and patient. He listens and kindly points out corrections and better ways to talk more naturally. He also gave me tips for extra ‘study’ material where I could find local expressions and more. I improved so much since my first class. I would say he makes the learning experience light and easy.
