I speak and study Latin, which gives me a strong understanding of how English is built from the ground up—so I can help students improve their spelling, vocabulary, and grammar by showing them why words work the way they do. Kids should take English lessons with me because I can teach them how language actually works, not just how to memorize rules. Since I also speak Latin, I understand the root of many English words, which helps with spelling, vocabulary, and grammar.
