About Cathryn
The sound of pieces clicking onto the board usually sharpens my focus instantly. Over 3 years of active coaching, I have guided 188 students through the complexities of middlegame planning and king safety.
My methodology relies on teaching pattern recognition and board vision so that time management becomes a natural habit. My approach balances steady feedback with a 7.0 difficulty scale to ensure you remain challenged without feeling overwhelmed. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Pure mathematics from Imperial College London, so I treat every board position as a logical puzzle. I will build an opening repertoire specifically for you to save time during your tournament preparation.
