About Opal
I bring over 3 years of teaching experience along with a BM in Jazz Piano Performance. Piano collaboration is my specialty. I train pianists to accompany singers, instrumentalists, and choirs with confidence and clarity. This skill is learned. I emphasize lead sheet reading, transposition on demand, and rhythmic sensitivity. Musical styles vary constantly. Students learn to adapt quickly and musically. My teaching approach is flexible and student-centered. I work with school-aged students and adult learners. Professional accompanists also study with me. Lessons are shaped by real musical needs. I’ve guided students from Beginner to Advanced levels. I also support musicians at the Professional and Expert stage. Together, we unlock the art of musical partnership.
