About Shira

I've been supporting current and post-grad university students with job applications since 2013 at UBC, where I studied and worked. When people come to me, I don't just help them upgrade their CV and cover letter, but also empower them to unveil their incredible potential.

I bring with me more than 7 years of experience in management, strategy, and student support. Additionally, I'm experienced in various work cultures, big and small alike, from academic institutions to international corporations, startups to non-profits, and in geographical locations such as North America and Israel. I leverage this knowledge in supporting and mentoring individuals in diverse fields and roles and of varying English levels, which has led me to become a go-to resource by many.

About the lesson

You're not alone in your journey - I'm here alongside you from the moment we begin. Prior to our sessions, I'll ask for your current resume and cover letter. Your start point doesn't need to be grand, because when we start our sessions, I'll open by asking guiding questions to understand your story, your ideal direction, and current difficulties and concerns. This will be our baseline.

From there, we'll review your materials together and begin upgrading! We'll focus on wording that makes your strengths and stories come to life by analyzing and bridging the gap between your history and roles you want to pursue. The process is dynamic and requires commitment and openness to feedback from you to succeed (I'm all in).

After working with me, you'll feel awesome - because you are. Even more awesome? Those who lead a successful revision process see that it also helps them better prepare for interview questions. But, if you still need help with interview prep, I'm happy to provide support with that, too.

-Not from Vancouver? All good! I'm webcam only and am happy to help students from other areas.
-Please note that my services are best suited for those who have managed projects and/or people (even on a small scale!). If you feel that might not be you, I'm happy to chat and see if we might still be a good fit.

Sessions are via webcam only and can be booked from 6AM-4PM EST as per availability since I'm abroad.
Cancellation policy: Full payment if not notified within 3 hours of the scheduled session.
