About Simran
As a published author, and a researcher within the field of social sciences and languages, I have over 4 years of tutoring experience. I believe lessons in ESL not only help academically, they are of immense use in honing a student's communication skills and building confidence. English is a universal language, and expanding one's knowledge base in it is a prerequisite today - whether you want a job or are starting a business.

My approach to teaching ESL is based on analyzing the student's strengths and weaknesses. I begin with an assessment to map the student's skills and areas where they need work. After I have a working understanding of the student's progress within the subject area, I help them with reading exercises, writing skills and communication building. At the end of each lesson, there is an assessment.
