I'm Mae, a real life teacher and student. I come from a background growing up in many different schools, from public to homeschool I have seen many different experiences and understandings of what it means to teach. I am a mom, a wife, and a person just like you!

I'm a teacher, writer, and lifelong lover of a really good story. As a History major at Angelo State University and a 2025 Warren Fellow, I've had the privilege of helping students discover something amazing — that they have more to say than they think, and the words to say it.
Whether you're staring down a blank page, tangled up in grammar, or just trying to write something that actually sounds like you — I'm here for it. I love working with students one-on-one to make writing feel less like a chore and more like something they're actually good at.
I believe every student has a voice worth hearing. My job is just to help you find it.
