About Kanishka
I am nearing the completion of my Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) degree at Auckland University of Technology and have extensive clinical placement experience across aged care, rehabilitation, surgical, mental health, community, and post-operative settings, including PACU at North Shore Hospital. This combination of academic learning and hands-on clinical exposure allows me to provide up-to-date, practical, and relevant nursing support to students.
My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and focused on building genuine understanding rather than memorization. I help students break down complex nursing concepts into simple, clear explanations and apply them through case studies, OSCE preparation, clinical reasoning, and exam-focused practice questions.
I aim to create a calm and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and develop their skills.
My goal is to support nursing students in strengthening both their academic performance and clinical thinking as they progress through their studies.

I am a final-year Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) student at Auckland University of Technology with clinical experience in aged care, rehabilitation, mental health, surgical, community, and post-operative settings. My teaching style is supportive, interactive, and tailored to each student's learning needs.
I help students understand nursing concepts rather than simply memorizing information. Lessons focus on nursing theory, pathophysiology, clinical reasoning, health assessment, pharmacology, OSCE preparation, clinical skills, assignments, and exam preparation. I use case studies, practice questions, and real clinical examples to make learning engaging and relevant.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and can be delivered online or in person. My tutoring is ideal for first-year, second-year, and third-year nursing students who want to improve their confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve better academic and clinical outcomes.
