About Demie

Hi, I’m Demie – a paediatric intensive care nurse at the best children's hospital in Europe, published co-author of clinical guidelines, and former Student Nurse of the Year. I’ve supported countless student nurses through university, placements, and into their first jobs. I’ve spoken at national conferences, written educational survival guides, and even published a book packed with practical tips, honest stories, and motivation for nurses just starting out. About the lesson

Hi, I’m Demie – a qualified paediatric intensive care nurse at the top children's hospital in the UK, published co-author of national clinical guidelines, and former Student Nurse of the Year (Nursing Times). I’m passionate about helping student nurses thrive at university, on placement, and beyond. With over 4 years of professional nursing experience, 20+ weeks of PICU placement training during university, and multiple national speaking engagements for student nurses, I offer tutoring grounded in real-life clinical experience, academic excellence, and a genuine love for mentoring. I boast a first-class degree in children's nursing, especially with a 96% on my final OSCE.
