About Issy
I teach English literature because it allows me to share my passion for language, storytelling, and critical thinking with others. Studying English at Edinburgh University has deepened my love for literature, and I’m excited to inspire that same enthusiasm in my students. I enjoy working closely with others, helping them unlock the layers of meaning in texts, and guiding them to express their own insights with confidence. For me, teaching is not just about analyzing books; it’s about connecting with students, understanding their unique perspectives, and supporting their journey to success, both academically and personally.
