About Nancy
I am a responsible, conscientious, and organised person with a passion for the German language. Although I am new to tutoring, I regularly volunteer at a local primary school where I assist children with their work (i.e. reading). I have found this experience to be invaluable and it will set me up well for my compulsory year abroad in which I hope to be a language assistant with the British Council teaching English in Germany.

As a new tutor focused on helping GCSE students excel, I emphasize personalized and interactive learning to address each student's unique needs. By assessing their strengths and weaknesses, I intend to tailor lessons to ensure they receive targeted help. I will incorporate engaging activities such as quizzes and problem-solving sessions to keep students actively involved. Understanding core concepts is a priority and regular feedback and continuous assessment through quizzes and periodic tests will help track progress and provide constructive guidance for improvement. Each tutoring session will last between 1 to 2 hours.
Although I am new to tutoring, my passion for the subject and dedication to student success drives my commitment to effective teaching. My lessons are designed for GCSE students seeking support in their studies, aiming to provide the guidance and resources they need to achieve their academic goals.
