About Luke
I would describe myself as a friendly and personable young man, and excellent with dealing with kids. I teach in an informal style, and I firmly believe that particularly with English and History lessons, discussion based learning is the best way to make a lesson stick! I have always had a natural aptitude for English and History in school, often helping my fellow classmates with their work. To make life easier, I have a passion for both so I enjoy teaching the material!
Another thing about me is that I realise that finding a subject difficult can lead to disillusionment and low confidence , so really I want to help kids and teens to start to enjoy their work as much as possible and not fret when entering the classroom.

I will teach my classes through a mixture of discussion and remote learning. Classes can range from 30 minutes to an hour long, that can be agreed upon between us. My classes can be for anyone ranging from junior infants up to junior cert level, and each will be tailor made for the recipient of course.
