About Nurul
I am a former SBP student who received straight As in history throughout high school and an A+ for SPM in 2020. I had been chosen as a mentor to help my friends in the subject in multiple history programmes before SPM. I also have previous experience of teaching the subject ever since I graduated from high school by volunteering in an organisation that helps less privileged SPM students. My most recent SPM student was able to raise her grade to an A in SPM 2021, despite never having received a grade higher than a D.

I strongly believe in the on-hand method instead of total dependence on theories. Therefore, I prefer to use the mentor-mentee method as my teaching approach. The method has been very helpful for me, and I hope it can bring the same benefits to my fellow students.
Since our teachers in school have been focusing more on the syllabus to make sure we have enough information we need for the exam, I would like to prepare my students with my additional practise on the past years' questions. This way, they are able to learn how to put the knowledge they have into writing as well as gain the confidence to sit for the exam as they have already become very familiar with the exam format and the structure of the questions.
However, I am also open to any teaching method my students wish, as long as they are comfortable with it. We can work on anything as long as we are doing it together. Also, practise makes perfect :)
