About Poppy
I am a passionate language learner myself and I have worked in Italian schools teaching English and love to speak to others who want to learn this new skill.
I think languages are so important in our society, they open doors for us and allow us to communicate in different ways.
For me languages have allowed me to travel and explore cities such as Paris in a unique way by managing to disguise myself as a local and learning the secrets of easy French living in the capital. I would urge anyone else who had the chance to take the opportunity to learn French, or any other language for that matter, so that they may become more aware of the world and people around them.
Also, French is a very useful language as it is spoken so widely in the world and links to other Romance languages and gives information on our own language!
