About Gabriel

I have learned all the English that I know complementing what I learned in class with conversation classes since I was 10 years old. Thanks to this, I got the degrees that I have in the same academic year. My taste for English led me to participate in projects such as the Comenius program (now Erasmus +) "Let's Improve It, Move It!" in third and fourth year of ESO, where I had the opportunity to represent my school at the meeting held in Bochum (Germany). I also participated in one of the camps of the "Diverbo Pueblo Inglés for Teens" Program in the summer of 2016. In addition to my language degrees, I have studied the first year of the Master's Degree in Primary Education at the Complutense University of Madrid and I have the Title Monitor of Leisure and Free Time of the Red Cross School of Youth. I am currently a student of the Degree in Audiovisual Communication at the University of Alcalá. I have experience in the field of leisure and free time, since since July 2019 I have been a volunteer in a scout group. I see in private classes a great opportunity to continue practicing and reviewing the language, as well as to put into practice what I have learned in Teaching and the monitor course.

About the lesson

My methodology is based on conversation as a fundamental pillar for learning the language that I have seen since I was little. I try to teach the classes 100% in English (if possible) and encourage students to lose their fear of speaking up in case they make mistakes (we all do it, and more when we are learning!). I offer revision and reinforcement classes, which I try to stimulate with playful activities to rest from so much grammar, vocabulary and exercises. In addition, I offer fully playful sessions for primary school students to practice and improve their English without feeling like they are in class.
