About Kaia
I am a first-year music student at King's College London, and I am passionate about creating a fair and supportive learning environment. During my time in school, I had many friends who struggled to engage with their education due to large class sizes and a lack of personal attention. I believe that students' individual needs must be met in a way that is often difficult to achieve in a traditional classroom setting. Therefore, it is my mission to level the educational playing field by providing personalised, one-on-one teaching to those who require it. I have had experience working as a full-time teacher to groups of GCSE students and have seen first-hand how challenging it can be to excel in busy schools. As such, my skills range from teaching to discipline and pastoral support.

I am a TEFL-certified English teacher and I am willing to take on any and all levels of English proficiency. My teaching style covers a broad range of skills including critical analysis, creative and non-fiction writing and EFL. I have experience as a full-time academic tutor at Bishop Young Academy, Leeds in which I planned and delivered 1-hour group sessions to GCSE students of both English Language and Literature. Additionally, I delivered daily specialised sessions to EFL students aged 15-16.
