About Savanna
One thing about me is that I am dedicated. I dedicate myself to whatever I put my mind to, especially my studies. I am a pre-med student in college, and I want to become a doctor due to past experiences in my life. Science has always been my favorite subject, but I fell in love with French in the 7th grade, and have pursued it ever since. Now as someone highly proficient in French, I have started to expand my love to other languages, currently at the moment, ASL and Japanese. I am an amazing student with a 4.0 GPA, and I also love to volunteer on the weekends at the local hospital in the NICU with the babies. I think the most important thing to know about me is that I am someone who cares and someone who will always want to help others become better. I assure any prospective students that my classes will be fun yet informative, and you will get a lot out of them. They will help you succeed in learning the French language, and become more confident in your abilities!

I plan to have a very Socratic method of teaching, where I make sure that everyone participates and everyone is involved. I believe that repetition is key, especially when learning a new language. A typical lesson plan for me would be reviewing the materials of the previous session, learning new vocabulary and grammar, and then practicing speaking and writing with an activity. At the end, I want to open the session for questions anyone might have, and then talk about what we will cover for the next session! What sets me apart as a tutor is how empathetic I am and how I want to work my hardest to see other people succeed. My lessons can be altered to meet anyone's needs. I work amazingly with children and can give lessons up to first-year French in college (my latest class level).
