About Lena
I am a German native speaker from Karlsruhe, GER. With a BA in Political Science from Heidelberg University and several years of work experience in Africa and Central America, I am now staying in Brighton as a postgrad student in Development Studies at the Unversity of Sussex.
I am a teacher at the German Saturday School Brighton&Hove, for a small group of 3/4-year-olds. I have previously taught German to Afghan asylum seekers in Germany and Austria, as well as young women in Nicaragua.
Having studied many other European and non-European languages myself, I have a very good understanding of approaches to grammar and vocabulary.

After an initial little assessment of your German skills (if any ;) ), I am happy to elaborate a teaching plan according to your interests and needs in topics and methods. We can discuss European politics, social movements, food or culture. We can read newspaper articles, academic papers or children's stories together. I am very happy to recommend youtube-videos and books for any level :)
