About Mia
I have been working with programming languages since 8th grade when I decided I wanted to pursue a career in computer science. I chose to major in Human-Centered Software Design and Development because it allows me to explore the relationship between humans and technology while designing the best systems for users.
Working as a learning assistant for college-level coding courses has exposed me to different teaching techniques, course structures, and student knowledge levels. My job responsibilities include hosting office hours to instruct and assist students, grading student submissions, and holding review sessions. All of these experiences have provided me with the skills required to connect with and help students in the digital environment.
