About Emily
I am a biomedical science student at Sheffield university who loves science and i’m very updated and intregued in social science. I have experience with babysitting children and have participated in buddy schemes, guiding small children to young adults, helping them with their school and homework as well as giving general life advice, advising with anything they need help with.

I firstly gage the students strengths and weaknesses so we can build the strengths further and focus on the weaknesses, building students confidence, self esteem and ultimately their grades. I like to explain topics with relevant and understandable examples, using lots of pictures and diagrams to engage the student. I ensure the students understand the topic content and show them how to answer exam questions, pinpointing key words and exact answers to get full marks. I also start sessions by recapping previous sessions to rehearse the content, getting students to recall content better.
