About David
Hello! My name is David and, as I mention in the title, I am a student of the Degree in Spanish Language and its Literatures at the University of Oviedo. Currently I have just finished the second year with an average of 8. My electives are from the Degree in English Studies, with which I have a C1 level certified. In addition to this, I am in constant training to improve my level of English in a center approved by the University of Cambridge.
On the other hand, I have participated in a month-long exchange with a US student. My English is fluent and I am a regular reader of novels, texts and the press (both in Spanish and English. )
I can teach English classes up to a B2 level (as I have a certificate from the University of Cambrige). Among my most outstanding services, I offer the following:
- Conversation classes in English.
- Correction of lexical-grammatical exercises (both in English and Spanish).
- Spelling classes.
- Strategies for commenting, summarizing and reading texts.
- Explanations on any syllabus of Spanish Language and its Literatures of the ESO-Bachelor levels.

- Analysis of literary texts.
- Preparation of EBAU tests.

As I mentioned before, I offer a myriad of services. When teaching classes, I believe that interest and dedication should prevail, so I try to make the sessions a moment in which you can enjoy learning, instead of a "tostón" to which the students go as an obligation.
I am a happy person who tries hard. Likewise, I attach great importance to communication with the student, because I consider that if something does not like how it is being carried out, it should not feel any qualms about commenting on it with me and readjusting everything necessary.
In carrying out the tasks I like to focus on the method or bibliography provided by the teachers (in the case of students who are preparing recovery or support classes), but transforming the unknowns of the syllabus into something simple and fun.
As for language classes, the element that should prevail is oral production and comprehension, so that in the classes we will try to give great weight to the conversation.
Finally, if the student does not have bibliographic references, they will be provided with materials (photocopiable, to be done online, textbooks that are more appropriate for their particular case, etc.).

Buscando profes de inglés para mi hijo (pasa de cuarto a primero de bachillerato este verano), he dado con David y está siendo un aciertazo. Tiene un nivel muy alto y el método que usa para enseñar no se hace nada nada pesado. La pronunciación es algo a lo que le da importancia, y a mi hijo eso le interesa mucho.
Bueno, y sumando que es un chico encantador!! está ahí para lo que necesites.Pese a que nunca tuve un gran nivel en inglés, lleva 2 meses dándome clases y he conseguido recuperar la asignatura, explicaciones muy claras y el profesor síempre muestra interés por mis dificultades o fallos. Sin duda muy recomendable
David me dio clase durante un año en segundo de bachillerato y gracias a él he conseguido aprobar inglés. Es atento e inteligente. Sin duda lo recomiendo.
