I have a strong background in math and sciences such as calculus, algebra, chemistry, biology, and more. I am comfortable in tutoring these subjects and served as a peer tutor previously. I can also tutor students for the SAT, specifically the math section.
SAT background:
-I was a top 1% scorer on the SAT
-Got a 780 out of 800 on the math section
My teaching style consists of implementing visual learning methods such as physical models or stories to depict math and keep it interesting as well as traditional lecture methods. I also believe in the facilitator teaching style and demonstrative teaching styles of allowing the student time to figure out a problem and truly comprehend the background on the topic rather than simply being there to provide answers.
