About Ella
I am an English literature and creative writing student at Exeter University, who wants to help you understand the less obvious elements of reading and writing.
Not every red door has a particular meaning, maybe the writer just thought of the colour red first! But sometimes there are hidden meanings or clues written between the lines that we miss, that can add a new level of understanding to the text that we may have overlooked before.

From GCSEto A Level, I help explore the various aspects of English literature and creative writing.
By exploring the classics, to your favourite book, I help develop a further understanding of what the book entails. These can be the themes, language devices or even specific characters and their importance to the book.
Helping develop these understandings, I also help develop an understanding of what exam boards are looking for and howthis knowledge can be applied to my students’ studies.
