About Caitlin
I have experience in teaching English and Mathematics to a class of thirty primary school children for one year while in High School. I have achieved Scottish Higher Level qualifications and am now studying Japanese Language at The University of Edinburgh. I have an extensive interest in languages and am very interested in educating others in the English language. Moreover, a flexible teaching schedule is perfect for my student responsibilities also, and would assist my future career aspirations in teaching abroad.

When teaching, I try to be as hands on as possible, supplying examples for the students, such as writing example sentences or equations, when teaching English and Mathematics. When teaching children about story writing, I was required to help the children come up with adjectives to describe the characters and events they wished to convey. To the students I will have while tutoring, I would create power points and worksheets to assist in their learning and to challenge their abilities. I am open to giving additional support Ito the students and extra guidance for their studies, so they have the best possibility to succeed and achieve their goals in learning the English Language. Additionally, I am open-minded, patient, and hardworking so I hope to be able to make students feel comfortable in the teaching environment, as well as help them achieve their goals.
