Deadly! Maryam has been fantastic from the very beginning. She responded quickly and offered a free first session to understand my goals and assess my level. She took the time to really listen to what I needed and where I’m starting from. I’m returning to education after a long gap and didn’t receive the right support in school, so I was nervous about starting again, especially with my gaps in foundational English.

From our first conversation, Maryam was warm, understanding, and non-judgmental. She asked thoughtful questions and listened carefully to what I needed, which helped me feel safe and confident enough to be honest about my struggles. She adapted quickly when I explained that I needed to start with the basics like grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure, and reassured me that no question was too small.

Our first lesson was relaxed but focused. She explained things clearly and gave me exercises that were challenging but not overwhelming. It felt like the perfect level, enough to stretch me, but not discourage me.
