About Barbara

Hi, my name is Barbara! I have an international academic background, having attended Riverside International School in Prague and Warsaw Montessori High School, where I graduated with the International Baccalaureate Diploma. I studied English, Psychology, and Biology at Higher Level, subjects that I particularly enjoyed and specialized in throughout high school.

I am currently studying Criminology at university in Milan, which allows me to further develop my interests in psychology, human behavior, and the sciences. I am passionate about helping students understand difficult topics in a simple and engaging way. I adapt my lessons to each student’s needs, whether they need help preparing for exams, improving their understanding of a subject, or simply building confidence.

About the lesson

My lessons are interactive, creative, and tailored to your goals. I enjoy using conversation to encourage you to ask questions, explore ideas, and explain what you have learned in your own words. Summarizing information this way helps you move beyond memorizing facts and develop a clearer understanding.

I like to make ideas easier to grasp through drawings, diagrams, props, and visual explanations. We might sketch a biological process, discuss an everyday example of a psychological concept, or practice English through realistic conversations and role play. I adapt the activities to your age, interests, and level, keeping lessons relevant and engaging.

We begin by discussing what you want to achieve and which areas you find challenging. From there, I break topics into manageable steps, combine explanations with practice, and revisit anything that needs more attention. You will have plenty of opportunities to participate and receive constructive feedback.

Whether you are a child learning something new, a student preparing for assessments, or an adult improving your English or exploring a subject, you are welcome. My aim is to create a friendly environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and building confidence at your own pace.
