About Missy
Kia Ora! My name is Missy, and I am 19 years old! I am studying at Wintec and have just completed my first year of the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Level 7). I love to work out and do something active. Humor is a big part of my life, so the lessons I'll produce are not too serious, they are more light-hearted because that is how I find it easier to learn personally. I am super understanding and flexible with how I teach as I understand everyone learns differently! :)

I believe in repetition, and encouragement in my lessons. A big thing for me is scaffolding, letting them explain it to me how they think. I observe how they think, and then I explain it to them how they think about things. Lessons normally would be between 30 mins to 60 mins. I work with children, so I am used to orchestrating lessons and creating plans to uphold what is being asked of the student. I don' t really have a specific age for lessons as I take them as they come.
