About Marijn
I am Marijn, a Software Development student with a broad technical background. During my studies, I have worked on several practical projects, including web applications and APIs, using tools that are also standard in the business world. This gives me not only subject knowledge but also insight into how programming really works beyond theory.
Alongside my studies, I have work experience in various sectors, which has taught me to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and learning styles. I bring this into my lessons: I tailor my explanations to the person in front of me.
I believe that good tutoring is more than just providing answers. It is about helping the student become more independent. That is the approach I take, and I am honest about it with my students.

My lessons are practice-oriented and tailored to your situation. We always start with what you need at that moment, whether it is a specific assignment, test preparation, or simply a concept that you are struggling to grasp.
I work analytically: instead of giving you the answer, I teach you to understand the problem yourself. This way, you not only improve in that one subject but also in independently solving similar problems later on.
A typical lesson starts with your current situation and goal; then we work through the material or assignment step by step. I use screen sharing to watch your code live, spot errors, and explain concepts visually.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school and vocational (MBO) students seeking tutoring in programming (Python, JavaScript, PHP, C#), web development (HTML, CSS, Vue, Laravel, Flask, Tailwind, Bootstrap), SQL, or version control with Git. Students who need help with a project or final assignment are also welcome.
