About Gráinne

I want to teach junior cycle science and leaving cert biology as I have a real passion for science and want to pass this onto others. I am currently studying biomedical science, (MSc) at the University of Aberdeen and am enthusiastic about the subject as well as the teaching of it. I am an organised and motivated person who does not stop until any job is completed to the highest standard! I have good communication skills and this is beneficial when teaching any subject. My main aim is for each student to reach their potential! I have lots of experience in working with children and young people. I have worked with children and young people previously so I have a lot of experience when working with young people and helping them understand concepts in a way that suits each student individually. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you!

About the lesson

I like to teach the lesson in a way that suits the student. Whether they learn best by watching videos or asking lots of questions, I alter the lesson to suit each individual. I am enthusiastic about science and care about each student and want them to get the most out of each lesson. The length of each lesson is 40 minutes and I teach junior cycle science and leaving cert biology. I achieved a distinction in junior cycle science and a H1 in biology in the leaving cert at higher level.
