About Sofia

My native language is Spanish. But I live in an English-speaking country, and I study and work in English. I have been teaching Spanish to English-speaking persons for a few years now. I do this as a side job, while I study at University. I have fun teaching and I have been told I am good at explaining things. I also taught maths to young students. I am 27 years old, originally from Argentina but I have been living overseas for 6 years now.

About the lesson

My native language is Spanish. But I live in an English-speaking country, and I study and work in English. I have been teaching Spanish to English-speaking persons for a few years now. Because of my native knowledge of the language, I specialize in explaining specific rules and exceptions when it comes to grammar. I am also good at practicing conversation for more advanced students to get better at their pronunciation and fluidity. Let me know what you need, and we can work through it together.

Deadly! Sofia is n excellent teacher. I've had 5 classes now with her and she explains the grammar so well and is very patient and kind when correcting my poor pronunciation. We often hsve a good laugh too. I look forward to seeing her vevery week and I've improved so much and understand the language far better than I did by doin gDuolingo for a year.

Sofia's linguistic knowledge is superb which has made my learning experience a lot easier. She is also an excellent conversationalist, making our lessons fun and dynamic. Any problems I have in understanding something are explained to me in a manner that I can easily understand. She is the best teacher I've had in my time learning Spanish - very highly recommend!
