About E
Hey everyone! My name is Engelina (Pronounced N-gel-ina, very confusing) and I am an 18 year old Greek-Australian Girl. I have grown up my whole life surrounded by family who aren't fluent in English and therefore felt very inspired to teach others the English language as I had to teach my parents my whole life.
I graduated Mernda Central College in 2023 with an over 80 ATAR and have gone on to now be enrolled in Latrobe University for a double bachelors degree in Business and Psychology! In high school I always received high scores and results in English and therefore I am knowledgable in the correct punctuation, grammar and spelling of the English language.
I am a confident and cheerful individual who loves meeting new people and helping others whenever I can! I would love to get to know all of you, what you do, your goals etc and hope I can be helpful with your language journey
Some random facts about me is that I love music, playing games, walking my dog and hanging out with my boyfriend, friends and family! I used to be on a netball team and I was Goalkeeper.

--> I have never been a tutor before but have had to teach my mum English my whole life as I am a native speaker and she's only fluent in Greek
--> My lessons go for 1 hour usually but can go for 2 hours if discussed!
--> Anyone of all ages or levels, who are not fluent in English are welcome - however when applying specify what you're looking to get out of my lessons and what proficiency level you believe you are in English :)
--> My techniques are based on the individual and their level. I want to do what works best for you and what keeps you interested but also assists you the most. However I do always teach how to verbalise important words and statements at first and eventually delve into punctuation, grammar, spelling as we go on.
--> I encourage everyone to have their own book to practice writing everything down and remembering everything we learnt, and I also will print worksheets out and have tests from time to time to really ensure the individual is tested in order to reach their excellence.
