About Lily
I am a student from Sudbury looking to study History at degree level and then go on to teach in secondary schools. Education is an interest of mine and I hope to gain more experience by tutoring GCSE students. I have assisted before in classrooms however now I wish to work more directly, 'one-on-one', with them. I hope to help students meet their personal aspirations as opposed to their predicted grades.

My teaching method is a combination of powerpoint presentations, notes, interactive activities and using textbooks. I find it is important to suit all kinds of learners however tutoring allows one to tailor lessons specifically to the students. I have found that more often than not engaging with students by having discussions is a good way to test and expand their knowledge.
