About Sithembokuhle
Hello, my name is Sithembokuhle. I am a qualified and experienced intermediate and senior phase teacher. I hold a Bachelor of Education degree with majors in Natural sciences, isiZulu and Social sciences. I obtained my qualification from Unisa and during this time as a teacher in training I completed my teaching practices at different primary schools around KZN this granted me the opportunity to plan and deliver lessons, lead classroom discussions, develop an effective classroom management tool, learning resources and materials, plan and administer assessments, implement a social action project for a school. I was able to create interactive lesson plans, manage classrooms and encourage learners’ curiosity to engage with their learning materials. I have delivered engaging lessons through the use of hands-on activities that encourage a collaborative learning environment. Through this experience I gained the necessary skills for being an effective teacher, developed my interpersonal skills which I believe is the greatest value that a teacher can have. Above all I have learned about the best teaching practices and also adopted my own personalized approach to teach which I believe brings out the best teacher in me. My goal as a teacher is to provide engaging learning opportunities that will help learners gain the knowledge and skills they need and to also help them to be individuals who have developed not just intellectually but also emotionally, physically, and culturally in order to be individuals who can live and strive within our dynamic society. I greatly believe that everyone is capable of learning and that learning is dependent on how the content is delivered to them, using the skills and the knowledge I have gained I promise to ensure that learners walk out of my classroom empowered and ready to tackle any problems that may come their way
